Didactics, E-Learning and Quality Management

Our task is to ensure and continuously improve the first-class quality of teaching at Wismar University of Applied Sciences. Our compass is always the guiding principle of good teaching. To this end, we regularly survey students and lecturers. From the results of these evaluations, the team develops strategies, recommendations for action and further training offers. This creates a cycle of surveys and offers that contributes to the improvement of teaching. The development of study programmes is also an important component in achieving this goal. For example, we advise on the establishment and further development of study programmes and help to create custom-fit concepts and timetables.

In addition, the DEQ also supports the technical implementation of teaching and provides didactic training. Within the framework of our annual didactics day, we connect university members with each other and with external specialists.
Whether optimising and further developing the learning management systems, equipping the teaching and learning rooms or supervising the university's own production studios - the staff unit stands for digital expertise, didactic know-how and constructive exchange.
