Eduroam
eduroam is the standard academic network at Wismar University of Applied Sciences and is available to all members of Wismar University of Applied Sciences. This network gives you worldwide access to the Internet at all participating institutions.
Please use this network preferably, as it is securely encrypted.
Note:
Access to eduroam at Wismar University of Applied Sciences is via easyroam. This access is not based on passwords but on certificates, which are provided to you as a so-called profile. These profiles are valid for 6 months.
HSW-Guest
This is a guest-only network and should only be used as such. It is highly regulated and insecure due to the lack of connection encryption.
ATTENTION: all data is transmitted unencrypted via this network as long as it is not encrypted at application level!
