The annual exhibition entitled "Designed by Hochschule Wismar. - Assembled in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern." was opened by the Minister of Science of Mecklenburg Western Pomerania (M-V), Bettina Martin, in her capacity as President of the Conference of Science Ministers 2025. In her opening speech, she called our university an academic flagship for M-V with its international network, modern study models and, last but not least, the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The Minister hopes that the artistic works, product ideas and design studies exhibited by the Wismar students will also arouse the curiosity of many of her ministerial colleagues from all over Germany during their consultations.

The selection of the 20 project and degree theses from the various areas of the Faculty of Architecture and Design presented on the walls of the conference rooms and corridors of the office was made jointly by Professor Oliver Hantke, Dean, and Professor Stephan Schulz, Dean of Studies at the Faculty. "We are delighted to be able to present works by students from all degree courses in our at Wismar University of Applied Sciences at the Standing Conference of Ministers of Science and Culture. The exhibition offers insights into a wide range of topics and current design issues - a reflection of the times and at the same time an inspiring perspective on the creative power of the young people who will shape our future," said Professor Hantke at the opening.

The exhibition is organised every year by the country holding the presidency. With the assumption of the presidency of the newly founded Conference of Science Ministers, this task has now fallen to the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
