Your strengths lie in research – ours in project management.
Christian Stollberg, professor at the Faculty of Engineering, is passionate about protecting indigenous knowledge. He researches the ingredients of important medicinal plants and travels around the world to do so. On an expedition in the Peruvian rainforest, he came up with the idea of an international group of scientists working together to set up a research laboratory in the Amazon. With the support of the Robert Schmidt Institute, he submitted a project proposal that convinced the European Commission. We now manage the project so that the researchers and trainers can instead concentrate on their work. Let us help you with your project - whether it's an application or simply the project management. Our services are aimed at professors from all faculties. Should our international partners also want our services, we will do our best to respond - and, wherever possible, try and include further University staff in addition to those of the RSI.

Our service options

You do the research – we do the project management

If the RSI is adequately involved in the management of the project, the following services can be taken over:

  • Project coordination
  • Project documentation of project processes and progress
  • Preparation of project management templates (e.g. for budgeting, invoicing of costs incurred)
  • Support with reporting and communication with the sponsor
  • Support in communication with the administrative units of Wismar University of Applied Sciences    
  • Support with financial processing and controlling (in cooperation with the external funding service of Wismar University of Applied Sciences)

We advise on project management

Even if your project proposal does not include project management by the Robert Schmidt Institute, you can still benefit from our expertise. We would be happy to advise you on the following topics:

  • Familiarisation with project management
  • Preparation of project management templates (e.g. activity, time and budget plans)
  • Accounting of the project
